Antique Brass Strong Box with Alarm and Yale Lock, by Safety Chest Co.Here is a very cool antique strong box originally manufactured by Safety Chest Co. out of New York , New York and patented in 1912. This safe features an alarm mechanism to ward off would be intruders. When I hooked a 9V battery up to this alarm, it worked, but seems to be stuck in a ringing state. No guarantees are made for the usability of the alarm mechanism. The brass box is in good condition with normal patina and wear. No key is included. The

There is some minor wear and residue on the opening of the vase that is only visible if you look into it from the top

The bellows appear to be in good shape

The bottom of the ashtray is marked "John Wright

Dimensions: 10" W x 12" D x 14" H

The red paint shows lovely wear that really gives this piece nice character

as well as a small chip in the paint

They would look great on either side of a book shelf or desk

but will do my best to photograph them

One side of this doll features a beautiful blond princess with a flowing white dress

She measures 13" from head to toe
