One dog is laying down while the other dog is sitting up. The dog sitting up has a bizarrely human like face and expression. This very large painting is tacked onto a wood stretcher and does not have a frame or a signature. Please note that there are several damages to this antique painting, most notably two large tears
with a copyright date of 1880
