Farlow 2 1/2" Brass ReelFor sale here is a early 2 1 2" brass reel made by Farlow's of London. Fish logo on the foot. 1895 1906. Condition is fair.
Cigar grip 6" in length with mild soiling and very slight ridging
Chestnut colored wraps at the ferrules and winding check
This reel also has a large arbor that may have been a custom feature requested by the customer
golden/lemon wraps
The full wells grip measures 6 1/4" in length
leather case in excellent condition
Nicely blued hardware
Serial #58731 built in 1970
The rod itself is in near mint condition and appears to be all original
Many lures of interest as well
Comes with standard labeled rod tube and rod bag
Payne-style grip with up-locking aluminum reel seat and butternut wood spacer
