"True Action" bamboo rod made by Wright & McGill. 7 1 2 feet, three sections with two tips for a five weight line. These rods were made in the late 1940s and 1950s. This rod remains in very good ++ condition. No repairs are evident and none are needed. The tips do have slight sets in them. The reel seat was upgraded to the uplocking Wright & McGill reel seat and included with this sale is the original maroon

The book is bright and soundly bound

The ferrules are 12/64 and fit together perfectly

The varnished mortised reel seat is stained curly maple

the only existing film of any classic rodmaker

Serial number 1240 - Dutch made

Reverse half wells grip is 6 3/8" in length and moderately soiled

Includes original bag and original maroon tube with label mostly intact

The rod is in excellent condition considering its age though it does have some bag-burn and marks in the varnish throughout
