Dingley Fly Reel 3 1/2" - Caged SpoolFor sale here is a 1920's vintage 3 1 2" caged spool fly reel made by WH Dingley for retailer Wallace & Kerr Edinburgh. This highly sought after brass pin caged reel has an early fixed caliper check, which is nicely blued and adequately strong. Stamped D7 on the frame. Correct original and un filed smooth brass foot. Original ivorine handle spins freely. There is a tiny amount of end play but definitely not enough to require repair. No spool wobble.
