This is an imposing but graceful wine that is presently exceptionally firm and like the Grands Echézeaux

The 2010 Pluribus reveals classic notes of blueberry and mulberry fruit intermixed with hints of violets

blackberry and blueberry fruit

sappy and punchy finish

culminating in a slightly austere and ever-so-mildly dry finish of solid though not exceptional persistence

The round and seductively textured medium weight flavors exude a fine bead of minerality on the appealingly detailed

A much more floral-inflected nose is equally fresh and ripe with a broader range of spice elements adding breadth to the pretty red and blue pinot fruit aromas that are trimmed in noticeable if not invasive wood

Here too the wood treatment is subtle yet just prominent enough to warrant pointing out on the cool

This is very Chambolle in style

which comes from their gorgeous hillside vineyards overlooking Lake Hennessey high on Pritchard Hill

the 2010 boasts serious depth and concentration
