This piece is hand painted and has a beautiful floral motif. It's approximately 4 inches in height, and is hallmarked "Made In Japan" in green with a crown below. Here is a pretty early 1900's vintage 800 silver lipstick compact case or holder with a flip-up mirror and carnelian cabochon clasp

It opens to a beveled glass mirror

This is the first compact of the DuBarry Hudnut line of compacts

It has a gleaming black enamel background trimmed in gold and silver
